How Are We Unique?
Here Is Why We Are So Useful
Students and Teachers Love The Opportunities We Provide!
Don’t Just Take Our Word For It, Read It From Them
Underserved students like myself hardly get exposed to internships like Silicon Labs, and I am extremely grateful I was chosen to participate. It was overwhelmingly impressive to see how much precision, effort, time, and community it takes to create these devices. I now know that electrical engineering is something I would love to study in college. Thank you so much for this opportunity, I truly enjoyed every moment of it.
I really enjoyed getting to know how everything works behind the scenes. Having the freedom to build something with the littleBits kit was an amazing experience.
I enjoyed learning about the real-life uses of what I’m teaching my students. It was fascinating learning about all that’s involved with failure analysis and product testing, and it was great hearing from several different engineers about their role in Silicon Labs.
I really didn’t know much about microchips but after going on this field trip, I’ve learned so much and I can probably say that about my classmates as well. It was a great experience!
Seeing engineers do product testing and dealing with day to day challenges inspires me to be on the STEM track when I start at LASA next school year. Plus I want to learn more. How inspiring it all was!
One of the most memorable moments was getting to converse with the other students and working with the electronics.
I feel so lucky to have been given such an opportunity, and my ideal career has been confirmed (electrical engineer).
I got to use my imagination in creating my very own invention during the activity at the end of the day.
Thank you so much for providing us with the grand opportunity to be able to come visit, explore, and learn about Silicon Labs.
It was a wonderful experience to be able to see how chips were made and what happens when they don’t work. I also realized how many silicon chips go into everyday electronics.
I had a lot of fun seeing all of the facilities. It made me think about becoming a chemical engineer.
Our kids asked good questions today, and came away with a new sense of both understanding and possibility that they didn’t have yesterday, and for that I am grateful.
I really enjoyed learning about chips and how they are used in everyday life.
Engineering and coding have always been an interest to me, and seeing the lab’s amazing machines and chips was really cool. My interest in electrical engineering has certainly grown through the field trip you helped arrange!
I hope you can keep the program for many years so other kids can get the same chance!
This type of exposure to real life work has an influence on kids that we may not immediately see, but that will pay off in the future as kids navigate school and career choices.
After seeing all of things we were talking about on a basic level, everything clicked and I understood the things we were talking about in a technical sense.
I enjoyed seeing all the different equipment in the labs, most of all I enjoyed playing with the littleBits kit!
I especially enjoyed seeing how the new Focused Ion Beam tool works in the Failure Analysis lab.
I wouldn’t give this trip up for the world, I feel so lucky to have gone on this amazing trip since it is something I will remember for life, thank you!
Millions of thanks again for your untiring efforts to make this experience so meaningful for kids all over the region!!!
I thought it was interesting to experience all of the different processes that are used to make one tiny microchip.
It was all truly inspiring knowing that things will not always work the first time. Seeing all of your companies successes gave everyone in that room inspiration! .
An engineer seems like a very thrilling and interesting career and I would jump on any opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience about it further. Thank you again for all of the career choices you’ve opened me up to.
What a spectacular tour of your facility we had this morning! The students were AMAZED and INSPIRED! The students are totally hooked and motivated to work hard to accomplish their goals.
This is a brief note to thank all in Samsung for your hospitality today. Our students greatly enjoyed it; I think it was very beneficial as well.
Thanks much for a great time yesterday with our folks from St. Michael’s. I’m already getting rave reviews about the day and we will of course hope to do it again next year.
I would like to thank your entire STEM team at Samsung for making our trip to your fabrication unit last Friday, a great success. It was a wonderful, educational experience for the Engineering students of Round Rock High School.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experiences. We had a blast and we greatly appreciate it!
I really enjoyed our field trip at Silicon Labs. When we started I was skeptical because I didn’t know who you were or what you did. I appreciate your expertise and I hope you will let us come back in the future.
During the tour, you and your assistants showed great expertise and courtesy providing us with exceptional (and fun information about Silicon Labs.
